We included an "Arts" class since there weren't a whole lot of craft activities in the other classes and Hogwarts doesn't have an art class in the books. Basically the kids got to paint their favorite character or creature or scene, etc. and if they finished, we had some index cards and Post-it Notes that they could use to try to make a "moving portrait" a.k.a. a flip book.
We had some other ideas to take it a little bit further, including having them paint two similar paintings and animate them digitally, or going in a performing arts direction by acting out scenes.
